The trip to the cross of Jesus is not an easy one; it takes humility, repentance from sin, embracing the sacrifice of Christ, and submission to Him as Lord. If Jesus is indeed the "way, the truth and the life", and "no one comes to the Father except through" Him, surely any price is worth paying.
